Chalet Management and Rentals
Renting out your second home or investment property can be an excellent way to earn extra income as a property owner. For those wishing to rent their property to guests, we provide consulting and support services, ranging from guidance on care-taking for absentee owners to advice on setting up short-term rentals.
We can connect you with licensed property management companies who handle bookings, online rental platforms, housekeeping, and guest services. Our role is to provide guidance and introductions; we do not directly manage rental operations or handle contracts.
Please keep in mind that short-term rentals in Japan require a special “Minpaku license.” While the application is relatively straightforward, there are rules and limitations to navigate. You can apply for the license yourself, or we can help put you in contact with a licensed operator or specialist who can assist you in bringing your property up to code and filing the application on your behalf.
Hotel and Lodge Management Consultancy
For those needing help running lodges and hotels, we can provide consultancy service for hiring and training your team. Drawing on our own hospitality training as well as 7 years of managing a 22 bedroom hotel in Myoko, we have plenty of first-hand knowledge on what it takes to run a lodge in snow country.

Property Maintenance and Upkeep
Myoko Kogen is one of the snowiest places on earth, so it should come as no surprise that snow management on your property is essential. Whether you are hosting guests at your property, or you plan to leave your place unoccupied, snow maintenance and clearing will be one of your first priorities. You will want to have a snow-maintenance action plan in place for your property well ahead of the winter season in December.
Although not as intense, the green season can introduce unwanted moisture and pests if the property is not lived in and looked after. We offer a check-up service on your property for the green season, making sure that your investment is the same condition as you left it.
Rates: For green season upkeep ur hourly rate is between ¥5,000 to ¥7,000 per hour. We would be happy to customize a management program for your property to stand up to any season. Rates for winter and snow maintenance will depend on your property. Contact us for more details.
